In Case You Missed It......

If you heard the afternoon show yesterday hosted by Rob Jay and Pop, you noticed that there was a different voice spinning your tunes. Our good friend and dedicated morning show host Funky Larry Jones was called in at the last minute to hold it down for Rob and Pop. He received a phone call late yesterday from a panicked Rob Jay that he would not be able to do his show due to an incident with Pop. For anyone that doesn't know, Rob Jay is the voice of the Jackson State basketball team in Jackson, Mississippi. He was on a plane ride back yesterday with Pop and right before the plane landed, Pop told Rob "Junior, I gotta go to the bathroom some kinda bad and it can't wait". Well, as you know, you are not to leave your seat when a plane is descending for landing. Pop couldn't wait or else on the plane would have been in for a rough surprise. Pop wobbled back to the bathroom as the plane was bouncing through the clouds and finally made it to the promised land.

Upon entering the bathroom and locking the door, the plane went through another cloud and bounced only this time jarring the bathroom door stuck closed and jarring poor old Pop off the toilet creating some kind of a big mess. Pop tried calling Rob from the bathroom but his poor feeble voice wouldn't carry up to first class where Rob always sits so he can nap.

Once the plane landed, Rob woke up, looked for Pop and realized the last he heard him say was he was going to the bathroom. Rob strolled back to the rear of the plane and all he could hear was Pop screaming "Junior, get me up outta this now". Rob saw the door was jammed shut but with the aide of airport security, the door was removed and Pop emerged, grabbed Rob by the ear and led him off the plane.
